Alien grid and cluster mechanics
Reactoonz fills a 7x7 grid with colourful one-eyed alien creatures. Wins form when 5 or more identical aliens connect horizontally or vertically. Winning clusters explode and new symbols cascade in from above, enabling consecutive wins within a single spin.
The two-eyed alien acts as a Wild and substitutes for all standard symbols. Wilds are placed on the grid at the start of each spin and participate in clusters normally.
The Quantum meter
Reactoonz’s defining feature is the Quantum meter on the side of the grid. It charges with every cascading win and, once full, activates one of four Quantum modifiers chosen at random:
- Implosion — transforms 3–6 non-winning symbols into Wilds
- Incision — draws a cross of Wilds through the grid
- Alteration — converts one low-value symbol type into another
- Demolition — destroys all instances of a randomly chosen symbol
These modifiers can trigger mid-cascade, reshaping the board and creating win chains that would otherwise not exist.
Gargantoon Wild
When 15+ symbols in a single cluster explode, the Gargantoon is released — a 3x3 Wild that occupies nine grid positions simultaneously. It splits into smaller Wilds across subsequent cascades as long as wins keep coming, leaving a trail of Wilds across the grid.
